How can a Foreign Occupational Therapist Qualify to come to the USA?

1. Occupational Therapist must have graduated from a WFOT accredited program. IMPORTANT!
   

2. Occupational Therapist must pass Toefl-iBT with a min. overall score of 89 and a 26 on the English speaking portion of the exam. See following link for explanation about this critical part of the exam as well as attached TOEFL_Tips.pdf.
   

3. AFTER passing TOEFL-iBT examination, an Occupational Therapist may apply to the National Board for the Certification of Occupational Therapist [NBCOT] to obtain permission to take the exam.  All Philippines and Indian BOT and MOT graduates MUST apply for the NBCOT examination under Category B. 4. Submit necessary documents from school  and your documetns to NBCOT along with a copy of your Academic Project and/or Research Paper. Wait 3-4 months for documents to be process.

2. NBCOT OTED Application:   $500
   

3. IF approved, cost of exam:       $600
